Our Founder.

Arielle Renee Johnson is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, social enterprise and non-profit leader. Her passion for empowering and emboldening others started during her studies at Michigan State University. During her 2nd year of college Arielle became a mother and developed a desire to pay forward the support she received as a young single mom to girls in Detroit. In 2012, Arielle founded FIERCE and focused her efforts on young mothers to start, following that, in 2016 her endeavors evolved into a sustainable staffing company, Fierce Staffing and Consulting. The Staffing arm of the Fierce enterprise trains, prepares and employs people from disenfranchised communities and prepares them for the hospitality workforce. Fierce Staffing has been privileged to provide quality staff for corporate clients such as: Major League Soccer, The Detroit Jazz Festival, Super Bowl 50 Host Committee and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

Now working to incorporate her business background, career training leadership and strategic development experience, Arielle is determined to contribute to the resurgence and resilience of Detroit. Arielle is a Ford EmpowerHER Pitch Competition winner, she was selected a Detroit Regional Chamber Mackinac Future Leader, a TVOne Women’s Month Change Agent and most recently, Arielle was honored to be named a Social enterprise Tory Burch Fellow 2019.

Arielle’s proudest accomplishment is being a mother to her son, Dorian, and her favorite leisure time activities include him.  Dorian is the main reason that FIERCE Empowerment exists, to embolden women who are in a similar position that Arielle was as she toted bottles and books, as a single mother college student.  FIERCE Empowerment is purpose work for Arielle.
